Steps to Apply for the provincial nominee program

Application Process

Navigating the application process for the Provincial Nominee Program involves several key steps

2. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) or Apply Directly
Depending on the province, you may need to submit an EOI or apply directly to the PNP stream.

3. Receive a Nomination Certificate
If your application is successful, you will receive a nomination certificate from the province or territory.
4. Create or Update Your Express Entry Profile
If applying through an Express Entry-linked stream, include your nomination details to receive additional points.

5. Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
Based on your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, you may receive an ITA for permanent residency.
6. Submit Your Permanent Residency Application
Once you receive an ITA, you have 60 days to submit a complete application, including all required documents.

Your application will be processed, typically within six months for Express Entry streams, or according to the processing times of non-Express Entry streams.
